South Korea Provides 1mln$ for Yemeni People

South Korea has announced the provision of 1 million dollars as a support for the Yemeni people to alleviate the humanitarian situations in the country.
In a statement by the South Korean embassy in Sana’a, the embassy affirmed that the government of South Korea will provide a million dollars as a financial support for the Yemeni people through international organizations to alleviate the humanitarian situation.
The statement pointed out that South Korea will stand by the Yemeni people and will exert its efforts to help Yemen until security, peace and stability are achieved.
It is worth to mention that South Korea provided last year a million dollars for Yemen through the International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and World Food Program (WFP) for the implementation of relief and humanitarian works.
