UN Special Envoy leaves Sana‘a

UN special envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed left Sana’a late on Monday after a short visit for the country.

During the two-day visit, he met with Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf and the national negotiators’ delegation, where they discussed efforts to achieve peace in the country and reopen the Sana’a International Airport.
