The Supreme Political Council confirms its welcome to any decision by the Security Council that includes a permanent and comprehensive cease-fire [18/ October /2016]
– Sana’a SABA : The Supreme Political Council confirmed its welcome to any decision by the UN Security Council that includes a permanent and comprehensive cease-fire without conditions, and stopping aggression and lift the siege on Yemen . The political council also confirmed in a statement received by Yemen News Agency (SABA) a copy of it,
its dealing positively with all calls that was announced and expressed the need for an immediate , permanent and comprehensive cease-fire in the land, sea and air, including the lifting of the blockade, air and sea embargo on the Yemeni people. The statement reads as follows: We the Supreme Political Council emphasize that our approach to what we always believe what we actually practice is to response to every invitations that contribute to stop the aggression and lift the siege by land, sea and air on Yemeni people and the fight against terrorism and extremism represented by al-Qaeda and Isis ,
we in the Republic of Yemen since the beginning of the aggression against Yemen , we called and appealed the international institutions represented by the Security Council and the United Nations and all the international forces in the world about it , we hold them the responsibility to bear the moral ,humanitarian responsibilities and international treaties and conventions on the need to lift the unjust aggression against a peaceful and civilized Yemeni people
in which has proved throughout history that he did not invade or attack any one , was and still a typical example in maintaining international peace and security.
In the statement according to the above, the political council of the Republic of Yemen confirms its positive dealing with all the calls that was announced and expressed the need for an immediate and comprehensive cease-lasting fire on land, sea and air, including the lifting of the blockade, air and sea embargo on the Yemeni people
