U S-Backed Saudi Coalition Forces Prevent Fuel Oil of Safer Ship

Naval forces of the US-backed Saudi alliance detained a limited amount of fuel oil for the Yemeni Oil Company on Monday and prevented it entry to Ras Issa port to operate “Safer” “floating tank” ship by diesel , that located in the coast of Hodeidah province.
An official source at the port confirmed of receiving a letter from the Middle East Maritime company that US-backed Saudi alliance prevented the oil tanker (Rama 1), carrying 3,000 tons of fuel oil from entering to supply ship Safer with diesel.
The source also pointed, the US-backed Saudi alliance intercepted (Rama 1) tanker from entering the regional and local water of Yemen to unload the quantity purchased from the Yemeni Oil company, about 3,000 tonnes of diesel fuel in Safer, while gaining passage license from the inspection team of the United Nations, in Djibouti.
As well as , it warned of an environmental disaster in the absence of urgent maintenance of the floating vessel that holds 1,000,200 thousand of light crude oil barrels since April 2015 ..
Pointing out ,the diesel fuel ran out of the ship Safer three months ago and the company has not been able from importing due to the blockade imposed by the enemy.
In the same context , the continuing of blockade on Yemeni ports and preventing the entry of imported quantity of diesel fuel oil threatens the occurrence of infiltration because of erosion and aging of the ship that is older than 60 years.
The source added that Safer company evacuated all the staff of the ship after it stopped as a result of running out of fuel oil , and kept only five employees in the city of Hodeida for emergency situations.
The source carried the US-backed Saudi alliance the legal responsibility of the repercussions of the detention of the purchased consignment that operate the floating ship in the case of infiltration.
