Chairman of the (SPC) Met the British House of Commons Member

Chairman of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Al-sammad met yesterday at the presidential palace in Sanaa, the British House of Commons Member Andrew Mitchell and the and UN Resident Coordinator to Yemen Jamie Mcgoldrick and General Director of UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs George Khoury .
During the meeting, they have reviewed the humanitarian situation in Yemen and developments in the political situation and the role of the Nations united in Yemen and the peace efforts and initiatives made by the friends of peace and stability in the world and all parties that are facing the danger of Al-Qaeda and Daesh.
The meeting reviewed the disastrous humanitarian situation in Yemen lasted for two years as a result by the Suaidi-US aggression.
Al-sammad praised the role played by the United Nations in Yemen in the humanitarian aspect and the its contribution that aim to meet the community needs which would be solved only by lifting the siege imposed on Yemen and by ending the aggression on Yemen . He also expressed thanks and gratitude to the leadership of the UN mission in Yemen and its staff.
He confirmed on the necessity to deliver the voice Yemen and its sufferings due to the Saudi aggression for two years to the world . He also welcomed of all the individual and collective initiatives in this aspect and to reveal the huge crime committed against Yemen and the Yemeni people.
He also briefed them on the current developments and pointing out that Yemen and its borders protect the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from smuggling till few months of beginning the Saudi aggression on Yemen and even though our defensive military acts inside the Saudi borders don’t targeted any civilian sites or civilians.
He confirmed that Yemen has a promising opportunities for investment and historically has a social friendly environment to all peoples and its hands are open to all to get them review their stances of the aggressive and failed coalition.
For his part, the British official expressed his pleasure of the meeting and his briefings stating that his visit would provide him with facts that touched in the field visit and meetings to brief the British Parliament and that facts and ideas that could be achieved through comprehensive and lasting peace process in Yemen .
Pointing out the importance of the United Nations role and its team efforts in Yemen that aim at extending its circle in the human side, revealing that he is optimistic of reaching peace soon in Yemen and it would be flared up from the Yemeni environment itself.
